Do you do the airport-to-campus run on the same day as a campus event?

Constantly. Pickup at SFO, drive straight to the venue, hold the car, return after.

What about same-day return to SFO after the talk?

Standard. The chauffeur stays on call until the visitor is ready, however late the dinner runs.
